Interruption, The Call

(OOC: I'll most likely refer to my character as Insight, it is much simpler to use than Leokas. Sometimes i'll use Leokas though, so please keep an eye out, so you don't get confused.)

Insight had informed one of the Guild Instructors that he was going to head out, into Oakvale's Wilderness... This specific place was very soothing to him, and sometimes he'd even meditate and train his Will here, by himself, that is. He was by a pond, and reading on its shores... Reading about The Hero of Oakvale, and finding ways he could possibly relate to this hero, for he was so great, so admirable, to most that was. Hmm... So, Jack of Blades, of the Void... Interesting. Thought Insight calmly. How did he achieve his power? To become the antagonist of such a fable... To cause so much damage, to be so feared by all? I wonder... Perhaps i'll check in the Archives about him. Insight was deep in thought. The most minor things became bothersome to him. His Longsword was slightly tilted, its hilt nudging him a bit, he had resituated it though. The stench... Bandits! Thought Insight to himself cautiously. He continued to read... Something odd was nearby, a strong presence, hidden beneath lesser presences.

Bandits had been examining Insight from a distance, shrouded behind the multiple bushes nearby. They were armed, and well-prepared to kill any innocent. Sometimes for their riches, but mostly for the terrorr, or what they looked upon as an achievement. An innocent young man, reading a book. Completely harmless... Or was he? They were preparing to strike...

(OOC: Sabre, your turn to post. Since they haven't attacked or anything, just make your first post, one of an observation or something. That is what i'd recommend it is up to you though. Smile

Sabre was on his way back to the Heroes Guild to celebrate his cousins graduation, All of a sudden he looked down below after leaping from building to building, He then became interested in what this innocent person would do when he notices that bandits are planning to attack him, He of course would jump in after all he was a Hero and that was his job.Sabre noticed that Kyugo had sensed a smell of the heroes guild, "He must be a student their" said Sabre, He then sat down on the roof of a windmill where he could see the action and waited to see what this student was planning on doing. Sabre was worried after all this innocent teenager was just a student, But he continued to watch gripping his Sabre in case this poor teenager needed his help.

OOC: I guess I will play as the bandits

Meanwhile, The bandits where whispering, "Ok mate heres the plan we ambush that fool when he looks away" said one of the bandits, "Why dont we just kill him now, he is just a child!" shouted the other, The third one just charged as the other were following behind, They all pulled out their sharp iron blades and where ready to strike just a few steps away. "Charge!"

Insight was frustrated with the bandits eager attempt to attack him... He had clearly already sensed them, but he wasn't expecting so many. He immediately launched a pink darting magical aura of will, straight at one of the bandits faces, this bandit than turned around, and held the rest of the bandits off, for as long as one bandit could. While this was going on, he charged up some lightning... Eventually, his Will reached it's current limit, in skill with the Will ability, so he released it. The rest of the bandits slaughtered the one bandit he had gotten to serve him, but, most of them were all shocked to the death by the lightning. There were 4 remaining and they all surrounded him, they were to close for him to have enough time to charge a stronger version of his will power up, so, he immediately slammed the ground, making three golden-orange Will-powered swords, fly all around him, one sword struck each bandit, accurately in the chest, dissappearing afterwards. Already Insight was tired... There was only 1 more bandit left around him, and he quickly whipped out his Steel Longsword, he spund around fast, disarming the bandit. "P-please don't kill me!" Cried the Bandit. "Hmph. You're smug..." Claimed Insight collectedly. He quickly jabbed the bandits right knee with the heal of his foot, there was a crunch from the bandits knee cap, as he collapsed to the ground. "This is exactly what you'd do to me, if I were pleading for forgiveness. Equality, no, order is essential." Claimed Insight strongly, raising up his blade. "NAHHOOOOOO!!!" Shouted the Bandit, but, as the bandit shouted, Insight ruthlessly stabbed the bandit straight through the chest, blood gushed out from the bandits mouth, as he cried for mercy, it was too late, and the Bandit fell to the floor face first. Insight was now surrounded by the bodies of the bandits he had just killed, he sheathed his sword behind him as it was before, only after swiping it to clear off traces of blood. Suddenly, as he bent over to grab his book... He heard war cries from a Bandit Captain... Followed by multiple cries from the captains followers... They were in the woods. Suddenly, Insight heard the sound of boots clamping their way towards his location, he could also feel the vibrations, and hear the cry of their bloodthirst. He had to escape, but would there be enough time? He was worried... And didn't have anyone to turn to. Th-that powerful aura I'm feeling nearby... Where is it? It isn't coming from the charging bandits... But where...? Thought Insight worriedly. He started charging up his lightning, preparing himself for death, to fight until the very end. He was sweating but, kept a calm, cool and collected personality. Or did his best to. The Bandits were now a few feet away, and most likely in merciless position. "Therr'e is! Kill'em!" Ordered the Captain. This is when he released all the shock he had built up, and lunged it straight towards the Bandit Captains chest. It stunned the bandit captain, as well as almost lead to his death, he than took this time to run away. "Cursed! I thought if the king falls, so will his men?!" Said Insight, questioning his own motives, and how his recent attempt to win, failed. He ran speedily, but knew sooner or later the bandits would catch up. Someone... If only. Thought Insight, picturing his own death, as he continued to run away from the pursuing enemy.

Suddenly as Insight was running Sabre had jumped out of nowhere and halted the bandits in their siege. "Step any further and I shall cut through you like metal on wood", The bandits stopped in their tracks they knew this hero "its Sabre The Slayer Of Trolls!, Run!!!" the bandits turned the other way only to be stopped again by Sabre, "Sorry men but you are all coming with me" Sabre said. Then out of the blue a battalion of guards came and arrested the men, "nice work Sabre, You could've killed these men but you did the right thing" said the Battalion leader. "It is my pleasure Sheriff Weskley" said Sabre. Apparently Sabre was really close to the guards in Oakvale, Kyugo shook the sheriffs hand as the females from the crowds cheered in awe. "sabre is such a man" cried one of the women. "Walk with me Hero, Tell me about yourself" sabre said as he turned to Insight and placed his hand on his shoulders guiding him in the opposite direction from the crowd.

A mighty Hero came to the rescue... This Hero was Sabre, a mysterious yet powerful being. Instead of slashing them down with his sabre, he had instead reported them to the guards ahead of time, and managed to get all the remaining bandits arrested. The little dragon didn't do much, but, at the moment Insight could tell it had a certain importance. There were a few women around, and they had all praised him for his rightful deed. Perhaps this was a mission, or perhaps it was fate. Sabre had gotten Insight to walk with him, it was somewhat personal, but, Insight wasn't 'touched' as most should've been after seeing this amazing skill in action, he kept a cool, calm and collected expression, as well as an intellectual mindest. After all, Heroes had a way with words, and actions. Sabre had rested his hand on Insight's shoulder, he was uncomfortable, but... He had accepted it. "Well... Sabre, what would you like to know? Don't expect much from me though, i'm not comfortable around Heroes, specifically powerful Heroes..." Claimed Insight, getting a slight flash from the Dark Hero whom had ruined his life, he was a Might Hero... That was certain. "I prefer reading... But, you have some superior excellence, I could sense your powerful presence from where I was sitting, i'm certain the presence I felt was yours. If not, i'd be quite concerned." Openly spoke Insight, he was filled with secrets, like most Heroes were... He had waited for a response, as he continually walked with Sabre, the Slayer of Trolls.

"Well little Hero you should remeber it wasn't a hero that killed your parents it was a heartless being, Heroes such as myself are here to help ensure people like you are safe, In return we ask for nothing but the gratitude, What im trying to say little hero is that you should not dislike Heroes the man that killed your parents is not what we call a Hero", Sabre said as he continued to walk with Insight. Eventually they reached the guild, "Alright little hero you've been through enough today, more than a rank such as yourself should be, The gods must have been watching over you today", Sabre said as he lifted a amulet out of his armor plate, "one day you will become a great Hero such as myself, please accept this amulet as a motivation and gift to do rightful deeds, for if you turn to darkness you may become that very man you wish to destroy", Sabre said. "We will meet again Hero, you can count on that... But until then take care of yourself" Sabre said. Insight reminded Sabre of when he was young, for the two shared a not so uncommon past, Sabre could only hope the hero would take the right path and not the wrong. After Sabre escorted the boy back to his dormitory he headed towards the Guildmaster to speak with him awhile while he drank some beers, Sabre then left to do another quest after waving goodbye to the guildmaster and some of his close companions.

Insight listened to Sabre's wise words, Sabre had apparently brought up his parents death... This made things even more uncomfrotable for Insight. "Please don't call me 'little hero' in the future, I believe myself to be more then that." Claimed Insight calmly. Insight had accepted the Heroes amulet, he didn't know whether this had power or not, but he was to remain respectful, after all, Sabre did recently save his life. The meeting was brief, because, for the whole time through, he had been leading Insight back to the Guild... Right when he arrived at the Guild, he departed, they both went their seperate ways, and Insight's mind was still clouded by revenge, it would take more then reason, and wise words to subdue his vengence for his parents. Insight went directly to his dorm... To study, about Jack of Blades, he had recently got a biography from the Heroes Guild library, or what he called, the "Ancient Archives". He remained quiet... And studied hard.
